Easter Art Camp 2016: Spring is here!

In celebration of this wonderful time of year, we will explore the world and discover the wonderful plants and animals that inhabit it.

Creative Adventures are pleased to announce the art and design camp for this Easter for children aged 6 to 13.

This is another exciting partnership project with Power Station Youth Services, following on from our very successful Summer and Autumn Art Camps.

These camps will provide a fun and enriching art and design experience that your children will never forget!  The camp runs for 4 days, and you can also book single days. (Extended days available too.)

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to try lots of different art and design workshops and to learn from a fantastic line-up of professional artists and designers.

What workshops are available?

• Tuesday - March 29th: Mixed media workshop
  Many artists including: Rousseau, Marianne North, John Dyer, and the Amozonian Indian Nixiwaka, have been inspired to capture the beauty of the jungle and the rainforest. Join us for a fun packed day: full of roaring tigers, colourful Chameleons, exotic flowers and gigantic insects. (During the workshops we will will explore lots of fun drawing and painting techniques.)
• Wednesday - March 30th:  Lantern workshop - Fishy tales
  Chinese lantern festivals are celebrated all over the world to celebrate the Chinese new year. Discover the art of lantern making and create some dazzling, fishy sculptures, (made with willow and special lantern tissue paper).
• Thursday - March 31st: Animation workshop 
  Jump into this spring workshop, and discover the world of floor pixilation animation, where you are and your friends are the stars. • Friday- April 1st : Print workshop - Monoprinting: 
  Discover the amazing world of West African textile design. In this unique printing workshop, you will learn all about the symbols behind the extraordinary patterns that they use in their designs and will create your own printed masterpieces!
