After school art clubs for children at the Power Station, Mortlake High Street.

We currently run two after school art clubs for children at the Power Station, 121a Mortlake High Street, SW14 8SN.
Tuesday's class runs from 3.45 to 5.00 p.m. for 5-7 year olds.
Wednesday's class runs from 4.15 to 5.45 p.m. for 8-12 year olds.
We are running Spring and Summer classes.
Both these fun classes focus on developing your child’s drawing, painting and printing skills. Over the course of seven weeks we will introduce them to a wide range of media, including charcoal, graphite pastel, chalk, ink, paint, collage and print.
There will be a strong emphasis on observational drawing and the children will learn how to use their sketch books to test out new techniques and materials and to develop their ideas. Each week we will look at the work of well-known artists relating to the class.
Over the course of 7 weeks we will explore:
- Line and mark making
- Tone and form
- Colour and mixing
- Composition and perspective
In the last two weeks we will develop a print.
If your child loves art and would like to explore foundation techniques and skills in drawing, painting and printing then this this is a great course for them.
