‘Heritage mural’
St Gabriel’s Primary School, Pimlico, London, 2006
A competition was held by this inner London School and from the winners’ drawings, I produced a design.
Children from all the years coloured in the designs on to with en-glaze paint on to the tiles. Some of the children made their own portraits, or painted activities they liked to take part in or out of school. Then the tiles were fired in my studio and mounted on board outside and grouted.
